LIght Painting
Light painting is a photographic technique that uses slow shutter speeds and moving lights to create unique, sometimes abstract images. The light sources for these images were either streetlights or a flashlight. These are straight out of the camera with no photoshop work done. Enjoy!

Mossbrae Falls
OK, well I'm now officially moved into my dorm at Cal Poly. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My computer at home was giving me major problems with blogger.com. Hopefully I'll be back up and running from here on out. A while ago, I decided to visit Mossbrae Falls just outside of Dunsmuir, CA. I had seen pictures of it before, but nothing could prepare me for seeing it in person. The water literally streams out of the hillside into the upper Sacramento River. It was truly one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen! I took tons of pictures, but these are my favorites. Enjoy!

Crystal Creek Falls
As promised here are some pictures of what I've been up to lately. I have always loved waterfalls but I never really thought there were many around where I live. Luckily I found a website, http://www.waterfallswest.com/, and it turns out there are quite a few falls not that far away at all. the first one that I decided to hike up to was Crystal Creek Falls. It was a gorgeous waterfall and I had a blast photographing it. Hope you like the results. Enjoy!

Long Time No See
Sorry for being gone for so long. The second semester of school was brutal. Then right after school I had the local fair which I'm involved in. Needless to say I've been quite busy. I plan on continuing with this blog. I've got some neat pictures from this spring that I plan on uploading soon. Also, I've created a website as a way to share my work as well. Here's the link:

Thanks for sticking around and look forward to some new pictures!

Waterfalls
I've always loved waterfalls. I've also always wanted to try my hand at photographing them. Today was the first day that it wasn't raining in about 2 weeks so I decided to get out and do a little photography. I decided to visit an area I've never been to before, Clear Creek. Since it had been raining so much, there were many small streams coming off the road and flowing into the creek. Since the banks of the creek were so steep, the streams created mini waterfalls as they flowed down. Admittedly they were not as impressive as "normal sized" waterfall, but they were still pretty. Plus they allowed me to get some waterfall photography practice in. I am very pleased with the results. Enjoy!

Winter Pics
It's really amazing how time can fly past. I apologize for not updating this blog in so long, but I've been really busy. First there was finals and then traveling for the holidays, then back to school and last night a photography group that I'm part of put together an exhibit which took a lot of time to prepare. Here are some photos that I've taken in the past month or so. Hopefuly I'll be able to get out again soon and start posting more regularly.
